Our Story

Good food,
shared with neighbors.
Good Graces was founded by Grace Cohan, a classically trained pastry chef and chocolatier with deep roots in Cleveland.
After growing up here, Grace spent years traveling and cooking around the world, including time in West Africa with the Peace Corps and more than a decade in Austin, Texas, working in restaurants, hotels, and chocolate factories. Along the way, she developed a love for thoughtful, well-made food that feels both special and familiar.
Now back home in Cleveland, Grace opened this café to create the kind of place she always wanted to visit. Somewhere you can stop in for a great cup of coffee, a comforting pastry, a simple lunch, or a cake made to celebrate life’s moments. Everything is made with care, rooted in classic technique, and meant to be enjoyed at your own pace.
Good Graces is about warmth, craft, and community — good food, made with intention, shared with Cleveland.
